The article analyzes one of the cornerstone issues for the entire tax law– the general principles of this law. The author has made an attempt toinventory these principles. Thus, the article discusses the concept andmeaning of the general principles of the tax law, development of theseprinciples, methodology of the research on the general principles of taxlaw, as well as a list of ideas recognized as a general principles of tax law
