Abstract:

The subject of the article is to present models of involving citizens in the decision-making process. The paper presents the main assumptions of the corporate model, which assumes the inclusion of certain interest groups in the process of shaping the state policy. Therefore, the solutions applicable in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany and Austria are presented. The article shown specifics of the British model. The next part presents the pluralistic model, which is characterized by low institutionalization (USA). Against this background, the characteristics of the Polish model of social consultations were made.
