Abstract:

The subject of the consideration presented in this paper is the notification of a crime against document reliability and its procedural consequences. The central issue discussed is the notion and procedural principles of filing a notification in such cases. The paper also focuses on analysing the possibilities of serving a complaint regarding failure to act and consider the notification of a crime. Also discussed is the reaction of law enforcement authorities to the notification of a crime, in cludingthe possibility of undertaking verification activities in order to supplement the data contained in the notification of a crime or to verify the facts in this regard within a specified deadline.
