Abstract:

The article examines the realisation of municipality’s tasks within the scope of preventing and combating domestic violence. Domestic violence leads to negative social consequences and destroys families and their members. Acts of domestic violence rise during the COVID-19 epidemic because coronavirus lockdowns have trapped victims of domestic violence with their abusers. The article’s aim is to analyse the realisation of the municipality’s tasks within the scope of preventing and combating domestic violence and the procedure for their realisation in the period of the COVID-19 epidemic.
