Abstract:

The subject of the doctoral dissertation is the Russian information struggle considered in terms of a foreign policy measure. The author examined three aspects of this issue:1) ideological and political, historical, conceptual and institutional conditions influencing both the theory and practice of Russian information warfare.2) the adaptability of the assumptions of the Russian information warfare to contemporary conditions, including those related to the development of new media.3) contemporary, empirically confirmed manifestations of information warfare, which enable verification and deepening of theoretical knowledge about this phenomenon.
