Abstract:

In 2010 year of Internet cantors in foreign currency from very beginning it provoked the appearance quite a lot of emotion. Doubts which were born along with the new area of the business activity, fluctuated around the issue of the legality of this activity and her control. The purpose of this study is above all to indicate the basic problems that are associated with the operation of currency exchange offices, as well as to determine the main directions of changes that should be made in this respect in legislation. An applicable legislation was analysed, above all act the exchange law and the act on payment services, as well as the project of planned changes in the exchange law. The study also took into account the data contained in post-audit speeches and reports of the Supreme Audit Office and the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. The article was prepared based on the legal status in force on November 1, 2018
