Abstract:

The article points the changes in family structure and discusses the negative behaviors toward seniors, which significantly affect their withdrawal from social life. A way to solve this problem is described activity of socio-cultural institutions that act on different spheres of senior’s life. These institutions become places influencing changes in attitudes, reduction of marginalization and good quality of elderly’ life.
