Abstract:

This Book was written on the initiative of the students and colleagues of Professor Tadeusz Kuczyński, long-standing head of the Department of Labour Law at the University of Wrocław and a retired judge of the Supreme Administrative Court. The book is a collection of studies prepared by esteemed representatives of the legal sciences, reflecting the Jubilarian's scientific interests, as well as the research directions represented by individual authors. The studies cover both the subject matter of labour law, with emphasis on employment with a service element, as well as topics belonging to other branches of law. There is no lack of historical-legal aspects among the topics discussed in the studies, however, references to current problems occurring in the theory and practice of implementing the law prevail, considering the challenges brought about by the ongoing social and technological changes.
