Abstract:

This article deals with the issue of the role of a criminal measure in the form of disqualify from holding specific post, perform a specific profession or conduct a specific economic activity in a system of criminal measures. The author indicates the basic elements of a criminal measure, its premises, functions in the system of penal measures. The coherence of the system is also questioned in relation to the possible simultaneous optional update to the decision of a criminal measure and the power of the law updating the ban from art. 18 § 2 k.s.h.
