• Abstract:
  
  
  The article describes the results of the analysis of the main trends in the development of criminalistics in Russia and in the world.The author describes the current trends in criminalistics and its practice-oriented and international features. She also refers to the urgent problems of Russian criminalistics, i.e. the investigation of crimes committed in wartime conditions. This article describes the possibilities of virtual tracks in the investigation of crimes. In particular, the article focuses on the scientific approaches to the virtual tracks in Russia and the United States of America. This article examines the origin of the term ‘investigative mindset’ and different opinions on the term’s meaning. The author analyzes the prospects for the development of the investigative mindset theory. The article also shows the potential of the practice-oriented Criminalistics.

  В статье представлены результаты анализа основных направлений развития криминалистической науки в России и в мире. Характеризуя современные тенденции криминалистики, автор подчеркивает ее прикладной и межнациональный характер. Подробно рассматриваются актуальные проблемы российской криминалистики, связанные: с расследованием преступлений, совершенных в условиях военного времени; с исследованием новейших криминальных технологий. Отмечены возможности использования следов в Интернет и в виртуальном пространстве. В качестве перспективного научного направления названа проблема формирования, коррекции и использования криминалистического мышления. Также показана необходимость научной разработки вопросов реализации криминалистических научных разработок в следственную и экспертную практику.
