Based on the observation, three patterns of placing the burial can be identified. The oldest mounds of the Lusatian culture in this area were stone and earth constructions. In this case, the main burials were placed in the embankments. What should be emphasized is that the graves were separated from the ground with cobblestone, which also became the foundation of a given burial mound (the younger period of the Bronze Age). The younger mounds of Lusatian culture was erected in the younger period of the Bronze Age and at the beginning of the late Bronze Age (almost exclusively stone tumuli). Within their area, the main burial was placed on the Surface of the ground, which at the same time corresponded with the base level of the burial mound. Such features are also visible in the few mounds of the HaC period. The most important shift took place within the chronologically youngest group, erected by the population of Pomeranian culture (the younger phase of the Hallstatt period). The box grave was placed below the base level of the burial mound. The author puts forward a hypothesis that the reason for the change of the place of the main burial lies in the transformation in the funeral rites. The impact on them would come from changes in the attitude of people living in the area towards the surrounding world. This was a consequence of the crisis of the natural environment (850 BC \u2013 650 BC), associated with the climate subatlantization.
