The aim was to answer the question: \u2018What sort of relationship exists between different personality disorders and a retrospective assessment of the mother and father\u2019s attitudes?\u2019 The research was conducted among 450 students from Rzeszów, of various subjects, who answered the personality disorders questionnaire and the inventory of retrospectively assessed parents\u2019 attitudes towards them. The study used the following techniques: the authors\u2019 adaptation of the Personality Inventory which supplemented The Structured Clinical Interview for Assessing Personality Disorders SCID II by M. B. First, M. Gibbon, R.L. Spitzer and J. B. W. Benjamin adapted by B. Zawadzki, A. Popiel and E. Praglowska, and Retrospective Assessment of Parental Attitudes by M. Plopa. The results revealed that in cases of male students with personality disorders the most significant factors are retrospective fathers\u2019 attitudes, especially inconsistency. For female students both fathers\u2019 and mothers\u2019 attitudes are significant."],"pl":["Przedmiotem badań prowadzonych przez autorów była ocena zależności między zaburzeniami osobowości badanych studentów a retrospektywną oceną postaw rodziców. Celem badań było poszukiwanie odpowiedzi na pytanie: Jaki związek istnieje pomiędzy zaburzeniami osobowości studentów a retrospektywną oceną postaw matek i ojców? Badania prowadzone były wśród 450 studentów różnych kierunków studiów rzeszowskich uczelni, którzy odpowiadali na pytania kwestionariusza badającego zaburzenia osobowości oraz retrospektywnie oceniali postawy swoich rodziców. W badaniach zastosowano następujące techniki badawcze: własną adaptację Kwestionariusza Osobowości uzupełniającego Ustrukturalizowany Wywiad Kliniczny do Badania Zaburzeń Osobowości SCID II M.B. First, M. Gibbon, R.L. Spitzer i J.B., W. Benjamin w oprac. B. Zawadzkiego, A. Popiel i E. Pragłowskiej oraz Kwestionariusz Retrospektywnej Oceny Postaw Rodziców (KPR-Roc) M. Plopy. W przypadku zaburzeń osobowości występujących u mężczyzn istotne znaczenie miały postawy ojców, studenci sygnalizowali zwłaszcza ich niekonsekwentne zachowania.
