The sample was divided into several groups using two classification criteria: (1) the onset of LD and comorbid disorders (ADHD, ODD, CD) symptoms as well as (2) gender. The comparison groups could have been distinguished from one other with reference to thestrength and the type of correlations between self-esteem and causal attributions for success including not only LD and coccurring disorders but also gender.
