The author, using the method of qualitative analysis of diverse sources \u2013 the textual sphere, linguistic analysis of the urban space of contemporary Warsaw (urbanonymy) and various Internet-multimedia manifestations (social networks, streaming portals), attempts to answer questions about the role of the Warsaw dialect in the 21st century. The main premise of the article is to answer the questions: what is the role of the Warsaw dialect and its awareness among the residents of today\u2019s Warsaw? Are we encountering a type of reactivation of this language formation? Can the Warsaw urban dialect be treated as a determinant of regional identity?
