During rescue excavations, 5 skeletal graves (partially preserved) were discovered here, located on an area of 1.8 ha, 8\u2013160 m apart of each other. The graves were oriented with longer axis, approximately along the east-west line (ESE-WNW), with skulls at their western ends. Probably, the cemetery was originally a regular row system, but was then largely destroyed by natural factors and by plowing. Two almost complete human skeletons were discovered \u2013 an adult of unspecified gender and a child (graves No. 4 and No. 6), as well as 3 burials with fragments of two skulls and other sparse fragments of skeletons (graves No. 51, 315 and 1645) \u2013 including a male, an adult of unspecified gender and a skeleton of unspecified age and gender. The cemetery, based on formal features and furnishings, can be dated to the 11th\u201312th centuries. The main issue was the different condition of the burials. We believe that the reason was post- depositional processes caused mainly by slope processes which led to the collapse of about 1 m of sediments lying above the graves, and in most cases also including the burials themselves. We suppose that processes took place as a result of the run off of underground streams \u2013 suffosion, and grooves visible on the slope surface."]}},{"label":{"en":["Publisher"],"pl":["Wydawca"]},"value":{"pl":["Uniwersytet Wrocławski.
