Cultural diplomacy is one of the keyelements of soft power, but compared to many European countries, Ukraine has rarely used it in the process of building its image abroad. The refore, the main goal of the author was defining the concept of cultural diplomacy of Ukraine and the key tools that is usually uses. The author devoted particular attention to tracing the interdependence between how historical processes, transformation of the state,including social and elite\u2019s changes, could affect Ukraine's cultural diplomacy and main problems thatit still has today. The summary of the thesis was an indication of the specifics and features of cultural diplomacy that distinguish it from the diplomacy of other countries; as well as defining Ukraine's cultural diplomacy system (i.e. all institutions with the Ukrainian Institute in the center).During the preparation of the thesis, the author used various research methods, primarily the method of collecting and observing facts, and the method of interviews. At the same time, the author conducted an analysis of statistical data, popular country brand rankings, documents, reports andwebsites of ministries and institutions."],"pl":["W obliczu ostatnich wydarzeń, m. in. pełnoskalowej wojny ukraińsko-rosyjskiej pojęcia twarda i miękka siła oraz znaczenie miękkiej siły na arenie międzynarodowej z powrotem stają się ciekawymi zagadnieniami tak dla środowisk eksperckich, jak też szerszej publiczności. Dyplomacja kulturalna jest jednym z kluczowych elementów miękkiej siły, jednak w porównaniu do wielu państw europejskich Ukraina rzadko sięgała po nią w procesie budowania swojego wizerunku za granicą. W związku z tym główny cel autorki sprowadził się do zdefiniowania pojęcia dyplomacji kulturalnej Ukrainy oraz kluczowych narzędzi, które zazwyczaj wykorzystuje. Szczególną uwagę autorka poświęciła na prześledzenie współzależności pomiędzy tym, jak procesy historyczne, transformacja państwa, w tym przemiany społeczne i zmiana w myśleniu elit, mogły wpłynąć na dyplomację kulturalną Ukrainy oraz szereg problemów, z którymi boryka się do dziś. Podsumowaniem pracy stało się wskazanie specyfikii cech dyplomacji kulturalnej, które odróżniają ją od dyplomacji innych państw; jak też zdefiniowanie systemu dyplomacji kulturalnej Ukrainy (czyli wymienienie wszystkich instytucji wraz z Instytutem Ukraińskim w centrum).W czasie przygotowywania pracy autorka sięgała po różne metody badawcze, przede wszystkim metodę gromadzenia i obserwacji faktów, metodę wywiadów.
