At that time, there were twenty academics on the staff of the Institute: one full professor, five associate professors, three assistant professors and eleven assistants of different status. The first primary research issue analysed by them was the problem of the legal status of an individual vis-á-vis public administration. However, the main research issues analysed today in the Institute are comprised of: substantive, procedural and structural administrative law, administrative and judicial-administrative proceedings, public economic law, environmental law, public administration and globalisation of public administration.
