  This publication aims to highlight the practical issues related to the participation of experts in criminal proceedings in terms of their timely and proper performance of their opinions in confrontation with the guaranteed right of the parties to a hearing without undue delay. The aim of the following publication is also to draw attention to the prolonged lack of comprehensive statutory regulation of the institution of an expert witness and the resulting consequences for the efficiency of court proceedings involving expert witnesses.

  Niniejsza publikacja ma na celu zwrócenie uwagi na zagadnienia praktyczne związane z udziałem biegłych w postępowaniach karnych w aspekcie terminowego i należytego wykonywania przez nich opinii w świetle zagwarantowanego prawa stron do rozpatrzenia sprawy bez nieuzasadnionej zwłoki. Celem poniższej publikacji jest również zwrócenie uwagi na przedłużający się brak kompleksowej ustawowej regulacji instytucji biegłego sądowego i wynikające z tego konsekwencje dla efektywności postępowań sądowych z udziałem biegłych.
