• Abstract:
  
  
  The aim of this article is to analyse German regulation regarding the medical confidentiality with special regard to its relations to criminal law. The author describes the aim, material and subjective scope of medical secrecy, as well as criminal rules regarding this institution. Particularly the article presents paragraph 203 of German criminal code concerning disclosure of medical secret.
