  The paper tackles the problem of defining the role of parents (social custodians) in the process of resocialization of adolescents in youth educational centres. It is understood that parents (social custodians) ought to work in collaboration with youth educational centres’ staff to improve the outcomes of correctional counseling and treatment.

  Celem artykułu jest określenie roli rodziców (opiekunów) w procesie resocjalizacji młodzieży umieszczonej w ośrodkach wychowawczych, którą powinni oni wspierać w oddziaływaniach opiekuńczo-wychowawczych i terapeutycznych, prowadzonych w placówkach oraz poza nimi.
