Abstract:

Blog is one of the easiest forms of expression. It is really cheap and widely available for all users. However the popularity of blogs causes a number of legal problems, e.g. privacy violation issues or defamations. Also it is worth to mention that blogs become more and more popular among the candidates during the election campaigns. This may leads to creation and adoption of new regulations. However it is upon the legislators' decision to choose the general (e.g. Swedish Instrument of Government Act and Fundamental Law on Freedom of Expression) or more detailed form of regulation (as in the USA).
