In the area of employment law, employees are to be guaranteed at least the minimum salary and at the same time the remuneration should be decent. The relationship between these institutions requires analysis not only from the perspective of the national legal order, but also requires consideration of solutions applicable in international law. It can be assumed that the minimum salary is just one of the means to guarantee the right to fair remuneration. It should be remembered at the same time that the actual realization of the right to decent remuneration requires a proper understanding of its subjective scope, which in addition to stricto sensu employees also includes people employed in non-employee forms.
