Abstract:

In this paper, the author proposes a reflection on the development of the Polish bibliotherapy. Author concentrates on the subsequent stages, showing its growing popularity. As an example of the implementation of bibliotherapy activities Author presents Państwowe Pomaturalne Studium Kształcenia Animatorów Kultury i Bibliotekarzy in Wroclaw and the Polish Society of Bibliotherapy. Author proves the need of bibliotherapeutic education and presents a concept of art therapy studies.
