Abstract:

The modern public administration, losing its position of primacy over the citizen typical of previous state models, becomes the subject of public opinion. In the search for ways to improve the image of the public administration, the directives of a culture of administration, including the concept of a synthetically „friendly office”, can play an important role. The article presents its main assumptions and a description of some examples of the working practices of the friendly authorities.
