Abstract:

The author characterizes the notion of utopia, he discusses the limits of the notion, and the possible impact of utopia on educational practice. Proper identification of these issues is important for the success of studies of educational utopias, that, according to the author, by virtue of its quantity and effectiveness, currently outweighs propositions of educational utopias that would be the encouraging and not abandonet.  

Autor, dokonując charakterystyki utopii, rozważa granice pojęcia oraz jej możliwy wpływ na praktykę edukacyjną. Właściwe rozpoznanie tych zagadnień jest istotne dla powodzenia badań utopii edukacyjnych, które, zdaniem autora, obecnie przeważają swą liczbą i skutecznością wobec deficytu zachęcających i kilku zarzuconych utopii edukacyjnych.
