Abstract:

According to Art. 1 sec. 1 Law on Associations, Polish citizens implement the right of association in associations, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the specific legal order in statutes. The right to set up and participate in the activities of associations in Poland is an expression of the constitutional assurance of freedom and political rights. The implementation of this law is subject to both the doctrine of law and the jurisprudence of courts. The article provides a voice in the discussion on the role and significance of the functioning of associations as forms of civil self-organization in the public sphere.
