Abstract:

The monograph deals with scientific research into various fields of intellectual property law in the Kingdom of Poland (1815-1915), namely copyright, inventive law, combating unfair competition and protection of the right to the name of the trading company. In addition, the paper presents issues related to sciences and law journalism in the field of intellectual property in the Kingdom of Poland. The author argues that despite unfavorable historical conditions (dependence on the Russian Empire and its outdated legislation), all fields of intellectual property developed in the Kingdom of Poland, although not uniformly and with varying intensity.
