Knowledge workers were in the Second Republic of Poland such a significant group of employees that in 1928 the legislature decided to publish a separate regulation which regulated the agreement of employment of knowledge workers. The provisions of the Regulation did not lose their power even after imposing of the Code of Obligations of 1934, in which art. 441-477 normalized provisions on employment contracts. The provisions of the Code of Obligations in relation to the Regulation, however, had only a subsidiary character. The article presents the regulation of the employment contract in the years 1928-1939, i.e. during the period of validity of the Regulation on the contract of employment of knowledge workers and the Code of Obligations. It discusses the provisions of the Regulation and the correlation with the provisions of the Code of Obligations in terms of the employment contract.
