Abstract:

The paper aims to present challenges currently faced by the European and Polish cross-border cooperation, including an attempt at assessing them in the perspective of the coming years. The forms of euroregion and European Grouping for Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) were compared. The author focuses on presenting the legal changes introduced by the European legislation in relation to EGTC and the characteristics of the Polish groups.
