Abstract:

Article title refers to the text of Zbigniew Osiński „The pipe dream practiced” which regards Jerzy Grotowski projects from the period of active culture so from the time of the counterculture which it is possible to treat it as a pipe dream. For her transformations were a legacy at the theatre involving especially him in socials processes. A little bit distant however today's drama groups gathering all sorts minorities are a consequence of this move, especially threatened with the marginalisation. There are drama groups of persons among them with disability, which the theatre work became a way for life. Teatroterapia Lubelska team is an example of drama group acting from 1995, gathering persons with intellectual disability. Beginning from school fascination for creating amateur shows, for the stage associated with using theatre classes as the occupational therapy or as the way of spending the free time, for institutionalised forms of the occupational rehabilitation or simply of work, this theatre realizes ideas become independent and changes of the quality of life of disabled persons. It is realizing ideas which were a pipe dream.
