Concordat of 10th of February 1925 – the footing of the catholic church performance in the Polish Second Commonwealth

Abstract:

In the article the Author analyzes Concordat signed by Polish Second Commonwealth and Papacy on 10th of February 1925. In the interwar period this document became base of the state-church relationship in Poland. Concordat regulated performance of the Catholic Church in all its major aspects. It also constituted Polish church’s new administrative division concordant with state borders. Unfortunately Concordat left aside some questionable issues for sides to settle in the future. In combination with many inaccurate resolutions of the document it made its compliment difficult
