Abstract:

Samuel Eliot Morison was a longtime professor of history at Harvard University, author of numerous books and articles, also he was a winner of many awards, including two Pulitzer Prizes, two Bancroft Prizes and the Balzan Prize. He was also awarded the Medal of Freedom. His life’s work is fifteen volumes of the History of the US Navy during World War II. The third volume in this article will be reviewed here
