Abstract:

Apart from the film industry the industry of computer games is the source of the largest incomes in the world of entertainment industry. Nowadays computer games reflect almost all aspects of real world and so-called virtual worlds function as alternative reality. In the light of this statement it is worth considering, whether there is a possibility of wounding feelings of dead person’s relatives (in real world) in virtual world by participating in computer game with making use of all opportunities given by its producer and creators of its particular elements. In the article the author makes the attempt to establish the possibility of violations of cult and memory of the deceased in virtual world of computer game and analyses potential violations of this personal right in computer game, in particular in computer game, in which there are millions of registered users participating
