Abstract:

The article discusses the library's exhibitions rendered available in their digitized form, i.e. in the virtual space. Attention is paid to the culture-producing role of exhibitions organized by libraries. It marks Wrocław University Library's participation in Lower Silesia Science Festival, and highlights the role of Digital Library of University of Wrocław in popularizing knowledge and culture in society. In the final part it characterizes the subject matter of virtual exhibitions organized by Wrocław University Library which are accessible online by Digital Library of University of Wrocław.  

W niniejszym artykule omówiono wystawy biblioteczne udostępniane w wersji cyfrowej - w wirtualnej przestrzeni sieciowej. Zwrócono uwagę na kulturotwórczą rolę wystaw, organizowanych przez biblioteki. Zaznaczono współuczestnictwo BUWr w Dolnośląskim Festiwalu Nauki oraz podkreślono rolę Biblioteki Cyfrowej Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego w upowszechnianiu nauki i kultury w społeczeństwie. W końcowej części - scharakteryzowano tematykę wirtualnych wystaw, przygotowanych przez Bibliotekę i prezentowanych online poprzez Bibliotekę Cyfrowa UWr.
