Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to review the legal sources that underpin the implementation of mobile health applications in an ongoing global pandemic. The study formulates a research hypothesis — legal sources guarantee the security of personal data protection in the functioning and use of the application. On the basis of the conducted review, it can be concluded that the sources of EU and Polish law guarantee the security and protection of data for obligatory and non-obligatory users. The collected data may not be processed for commercial purposes and should not be processed forthe surveillance of citizens.
