Abstract:

The article presents a general outline of the meaning of information and the right to information in the legal system. The author refers to selected definitions of information formulated in the literature, both in broad perspective and in the context of particular scientific fields, presenting his own proposal for the understanding of information and data. Subsequent comments consider the legal aspect of the meaning of information in human life and its connection to selected human rights.
