Abstract:

The article presents the issue of corruption in public procurement. The legal and criminological perspective made it possible to define the characteristics of the phenomenon, the perpetrators responsible for this crime, and the mechanism of their operation in the public procurement system. The functional side of this system was also presented, along with potential sources of threats to its proper operation.
