Abstract:

The present study aims at drawing attention to the increased interest of family journalists in the family as an educational environment in the second half of the nineteenth century in the Kingdom of Poland. It will provide the historical reconstruction of the family model and the ideas of family upbringing, which were developed and propagated in the Warsaw family magazine “Opiekun Domowy” (“Home Carer” or “Home Caregiver”) from 1865-1876
