Abstract:

Pharmaceutical companies have been one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy in recent years. Despite the growing demand for pharmaceutical products, this industry faces a significant threat resulting from the production and processing of various types of chemical, toxic and disinfecting substances that affect the health and life of employees. The consequences of working in the pharmaceutical industry also result from the nature of the job in a given position. The work focused on the position of a laboratory technician. The aim of the study was to assess the risk of health loss in the work of lab technicians in the pharmaceutical company Jelfa S.A. in Jelenia Góra. Ignoring the harmful factors in the workplace can lead to many health complications.
