Abstract:

Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms in the world. It is used for communication but also for promotion and marketing purposes. The aim of this article is to present Instagram as an effective medium of marketing communication and to point to Instagram as an attractive medium in the marketing policy of companies, especially in promotion and relation with consumers. The article is based on literature studies of marketing, especially those concerned with marketing communication and social media. The author also presents the findings of her own research connected with rating Instagram as an instrument of marketing communication.
