Abstract:

The purpose of the considerations is to identify and characterize selected aspects of lifestyle relevant to individual responsibility for health. The recreational activity of representatives of Polish households was the area of interest. In the course of considerations, the focus was on its two dimensions, i.e. physical and leisure activity, which make up two spheres of human life, i.e. the sphere of consumption of goods and the sphere of health. Critical analysis of the literature on the subject was the basis for consideration. At the empirical level, secondary data from non-exhaustive sources was used
