Actually from a philosophical perspective the depth of his observations allows to consider this thinker as the greatest „Doctor of Counter-Revolution”, however, giving way to the other philosopher – Joseph de Maistre, who I have mentioned, in terms of writing skills. The French thinker devoted a lot of attention to a detailed consideration of issues related to the theory of political power, social order, and the socio-political situation after 1789. The analysis of his considerations allows a thorough knowledge of the doctrine with which he is sometimes associated, but also the history of France told by a monarchist and an ardent defender of order built on Catholic values. This article will serve to present the fundamental views of Louis de Bonald in the indicated issues, demonstrate their importance for conservative discourse and outline the message that this conservative left behind. The perception of established regularities is conductive to determining the originality of Bonald's thought against the background of other outstanding representatives of traditionalism.
