Beck N2 - There is no question that certain elements of information and communications technology entered the Polish system of law and other legal systems of European countries. In Poland, it is worth mentioning regulations of the act of 5.9.2016, on trust services and electronic identification. This act is to serve the implementation of the regulation of the European Parliament and the Council no 910/2014 of 23.7.2014, regarding electronic identification on external market and amending directive 1999/93/EC. A question arises: are we going into uncharted territory, which is application of artificial intelligence in the process of law, and maybe in the future also making law, or is the abovementioned amendment the first step towards that direction, or may be one in the future?
