The “fruit of the poisonous tree” doctrine has roots in criminal procedure but, on the other hand, it could be applied also in civil proceedings sadly, in Polish criminal procedure this doctrine is very limited. This article is a short presentation of the current views of Polish courts and jurisprudence on this matter, which are not consistent.
