All the previous voices did not contribute to wider discussion or changes. The real picture of young lawyers’ situation remains hidden. Instead, the “main” image of lawyers is created by stereotypes and pop-culture, which confuses future law students and the rest of the society. Because of that, lawyers in Poland are treated as an elite. Interesting is the fact that symbolic prestige does not correlate with financial prestige, which is very well exemplified by young lawyers’ precariousness. The phenomenon of precariat has been quite well elaborated, especially by the authors like Guy Standing or Rafał Woś. Looking at their works, we can see the dangers of precariat, why that phenomenon exists or how to avoid it. What is more, we can observe the influence of precariat on politics – primarily on the popularity of populist parties.}, title={Precarization of young lawyers in Poland}, doi={https://doi.org/10.23734/FIUW.2018.1.243.262}, keywords={precariat, lawyers, pop-culture, legal education}, }
