The problem of reflexion in the understanding of everyday reality is viewed from the perspective of Paul Ricœur’s hermeneutics which stems from the hermeneutic tradition represented by Martin Heidegger and Wilhelm Dilthey. Ricœur’s hermeneutics allows for a discursive, or linguistic, dimension of the whole of society while replacing the concept of discourse with those of text and its meaning. Hence Ricœur’s reflexion in everyday reality becomes reflexion against the world of meanings, or against texts. The aim of the paper is to foreground the critical potential of reflexivity.}, title={Human Reflexivity Against the World of Meanings}, doi={https://doi.org/10.34616/22.19.214}, keywords={belonging, hermeneutic circle, reflexion, understanding}, }
