In the treatise, Dawid includes probably one of the most accurate definitions of a teacher-master, although he does not use this exact term. Dawid’s take on the teacher-master focuses on the teacher’s desire to help guide his or her students to become better than the teacher himself. The ideal teacher should also have empathy and a sense of responsibility towards his students. Among the teachers in Galicia’s secondary schools, many approached the ideal set out by Dawid, as evidenced by the accounts of numerous students.}, title={The Souls of Teachers in light of the accounts of secondary school students in Galicia}, doi={https://doi.org/10.34616/22.19.080}, keywords={Galicia, Jan Władysław Dawid, secondary schools pupils, student, teacher}, }
