All supplemen-tary protocols to the Convention have not been ratified so far. This article presents the state of ratifying these protocols, the statistics on cases filed against Poland to the European Court of Human Rights and sentences pronounced by the Court. It also discusses the problems con-nected with the enforcement of the Court judgments and the action contributing to the in-crease of the effectiveness of enforcing judgments. This action has brought about notable ef-fects, such as a larger number of judgment enforcement, a smaller number of judgments issued in the cases against Poland by the Court and a smaller number of cases filed to the Court or providing the control of legislation projects, paying special attention to the conformity with the standards of the European Convention on Human Rights.}, title={Poland before the European Court of Human Rights – the assessment of experience in the years 1993–2014}, keywords={skargi indywidualne, Rada Europy, Europejski Trybunał Praw Człowieka, sądownictwo}, }
