 abstract={An account of the social networking site user after death. Currently, social networking sites play a significant role in the cyberspace. For many people, the contact with other people within the sites is a considerable part of the interpersonal relationships. A web identity, being a digital reflection of the actual identity, is created in such a state of affairs. Death does not deactivate the profile. This causes a significant gap between the real and virtual identity. Currently, the universal instrument to protect the identity after the member’s death is only a theory of a breach of the personal rights of persons close to the deceased.
