A space in which it is possible to earn enormous sums of money, with only minimal requirements for this activity – sounds like nonsense, but it is reality. The least acceptable aspect of the whole system is the fact that every day it is watched by a very young audience for a significant amount of time. The younger the children, the more susceptible they are to the words of idols, at the same time, they are not protected against the effects of influencers’ actions. Currently, it is commonly believed that sexting or trolling are the biggest threats in the virtual sphere. The purpose of this paper is to show that the most current of the existing dangers is the corruption of the young audience, which in the future may bring desperate consequences for the whole society. The author attempts to prove that the most reasonable solution in this situation would be recognition by the legislator and courts that the Internet as a virtual space should be treated as a public space, and therefore it would be possible to sanction people operating in the virtual space in the way provided for in individual acts.}, type={text}, doi={10.34616/149638}, keywords={influencer, public space, Internet, young audience, sanctions, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, threats}, }
